Call-to-Protect Emergency Phone Program

A Call-to-Protect phone is a cell phone that is no longer in service. All of these used cell phones have been donated generously by community citizens. Call-to-protect phones are an imperative asset in safety planning, as they allow victims of domestic violence who do not have a cell phone to call 9-1-1 in case of an emergency.

To obtain a Call To Protect phone as part of a safety plan, please contact a Victim/Witness Services advocate at (928) 779-6163.

To donate a cell phone for a Call-to-Protect phone, please drop it off with the charger at the Victim/Witness Office.  We are not responsible for ensuring the service is turned off, and we do not erase phonebooks on donated phones.  If you do not have a charger, we will still be happy to take the phone, as we recycle them and appreciate any donations.
